Elise Neal

Elise Neal, born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, discovered her gift for entertainment at the age of six in dance class. Excelling at Overton High School, she became the first black queen of the school, achieved honors' roll, and was Head Cheerleader. She earned a full scholarship to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and went on to have an amazing career in performance arts, touring across the globe in various productions. Productions include but are not limited to: "Sophisticated Ladies", "Dream Girls" and Maurice Hines' "Oh Kay". After a successful run n dance, Elise transitioned to acting, with over 28 years of experience in the industry. Her career highlights include lead roles in John Singleton's "Rosewood," New Line Cinema's "Money Talks," and the box office hit "Scream 2," which stayed at number one for three weeks. With over 200 film and television production credits to her name, Elise has received eight NAACP Awards nominations, including two for her role as Yvonne in "The Hughleys" as best comedy actress, one for best supporting actress in critically acclaimed film "Hustle and Flow," and another for best limited series for her latest performance in "The Black Hamptons" as Syndey. Hustle and Flow, a film based on Memphis characters, not only won the audience award at the Sunday Film Festival, but it’s also still a fan favorite. Marvel’s Logan, which held the record as the top-grossing R-rated film at the time, raked in a whopping $83 million in its first week and $400 million worldwide! Elise, a talented actress, just completed filming the Christmas film Angel for Peacock and is set to make a highly-anticipated return to her BET series The Black Hamptons. Neal, who co-produced and starred in Survival, had the honor of being selected for the ABFF Festival and is heading back this year in the film Fels High opposite Omari Hardwick. And to top it all off, she is a long-time supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital and even had the title of African American liaison to bring attention to the services of the charity to other celebrities of color.
