With over 200 film and television production credits to her name, Elise has received eight NAACP Awards nominations, including two for her role as Yvonne in "The Hughleys" as best comedy actress, one for best supporting actress in critically acclaimed film "Hustle and Flow," and another for best limited series for her latest performance in "The Black Hamptons" as Syndey. Hustle and Flow, a film based on Memphis characters, not only won the audience award at the Sunday Film Festival, but it’s also still a fan favorite. Marvel’s Logan, which held the record as the top-grossing R-rated film at the time, raked in a whopping $83 million in its first week and $400 million worldwide! Elise, a talented actress, just completed filming the Christmas film Angel for Peacock and is set to make a highly-anticipated return to her BET series The Black Hamptons.
